Wasting half an hour...

I am bored today. I have a HUGE pile of ironing waiting to be done, and I feel like I should be doing more in the last few days of Izabelle's Easter hols, but with a head cold looming, and lots of grey clouds outside, I really am feeling sorry for myself, and lazy!

So when I ventured into the kitchen looking for a comfort snack, I spotted the biscuit barrel and choose to sit down at my craft desk and pretty it up a bit.

It only took me half an hour, but at least I feel like I have achieved something today now!

I used some Prima e-line flowers, and spritzed them with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, and whilst doing this, I also sprayed some on a scrap of green card. I then punched the leaves out of the green, and inked the edges to make them look a little more realistic. I tend to bend the leaf in half, so I can ink a line down the centre of the leaf, then bend it up the opposite way for dimension. (Maybe I should type up a post on doing this?!?)

This is what the biscuit jar looked like before...pretty boring, and even worse as it was empty!

  1. wow that is seriously pretty xx

  2. love this, thanks for the later video on how you actually make the leaves.

I really appreciate all comments left...Thank you :-)
